Day 2 Insanity Max 30

OMG, who would have thought 30 minutes could be so tiring/energizing/sweaty?! I honestly have no idea why I would think anything less from Shaun, but he once again, has kicked my ass, and I LOVE it!!!!

Today officially marks day 2 of Insanity Max 30, and I am obsessed! Today was a ton of arm work, which I desperately need! I'm pretty sure I could go airborne with a strong wind gust with the arm wings I have going on :).

I know it is only my second day of working out/eating healthy again, and I can't get too ahead of myself as I know this is going to be a long road, (I love pizza and chocolate so much....like SO much) but I am already so proud of myself!

This morning I woke up and had a cup of coffee (no creamer, but swapped it for almond milk), greek yogurt with berries, and a massive glass of water. Seriously so good!

Lunch rolled around, and since I have been on a breakfast food kick lately, I decided to make an egg scramble with 1 egg + 2 egg whites, peppers and onions, and a massive orange on the side. Seriously, I had no idea how big an orange actually was. Those silly clementines have been messing with my brain!

Finally, it was time for me to get off the couch and hang out with Shaun T for a half hour. At first I was all like:
P.S. posting this pic is mortifying to me.....bahhhhhh

And then 30 mins later I was all like:

Seriously, so dead. My arms were so tired I could barely push myself off the ground. (I am also pretty sure the pups are LOVING that I am working out again. Does anyone else get attacked by their dogs after a good sweat, or is it just my crazy mutts? :)

Anyways, now its time for a Chocolate Shakeology and a long walk with Gus and Jordy.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and I'm sorry to all my Chicago friends, but its almost 80 here in AZ :D

Being My Brand

Ok, so I'm sure people will wonder, who the H is this Chick, and why does she even have an interest in Beachbody? Well, here is the low down about me:

I was a competitive swimmer since the age of 6, all the way through 4 years at a Division I University. Growing up, I never had to worry about what I ate, working out on my own, or any of the things I now struggle with. I was in the pool for 4 hours each day, lifting weights, as well as circuit training. I would literally eat a row of double-stuffed Oreos as a snack, and somehow lose weight. It was seriously the life!!
That's me holding the Trophy!

Once my college career was over, I stupidly continued to eat the same way, and workout about 1/38784 of the time I was used to. Needless to say, I found myself 30 lbs heavier, sluggish, and very unhappy with what I saw. I found my savior, Shaun T and Insanity, and worked out like a mad woman. I ended up losing all the weight super fast, plus some. The down side: I wasn't eating right, and the minute I stopped doing my insanity workouts, the weight came right back on. The yo-yo weight I have struggled with has been nothing but annoying and frustrating. After seeing numerous Facebook "friends" getting a hold of their lives and maintaing a healthy lifestyle, I decided it was finally time to take hold of my life. I want to be the one who motivates people to better themselves. I want to feel amazingly energized. And most importantly, I want to feel better and more confident in my own skin!

I decided to write out characteristics of myself and develop "My Brand." So here is a little about me:

I am 25 years old
Single (Waiting for him to put a ring on it) :)
Have 2 amazing fur babies: Gus and Jordy
Fun-loving, hardworking, but gets anxiety about the silliest things
In love with my family, friends, hiking, festivals, being out on the water, wine, and tacos :)
Absolutely loves Rom-Coms, and new obsession of the History Channel (what?! Who am I??)
Currently a Digital Sales Specialist (aka-sit at a desk for 8 hrs a day. Blegh!!)
Total impulse decision maker, than instantly second-guesses it
Trying to lose 10-15 lbs, but really tone up
Horrified people will judge me for doing this
Has fluctuated my weight more times than I care to count
Wants to finally be happy in my own skin

My little family! Gus, Me, Jon, and Jordy :)

A New Beginning!! Yay Beachbody!

Well, today officially marks day 2 of my Beachbody journey! I am so excited about starting my life as a Coach, beginning my healthy lifestyle, and just becoming an all around happier person! Through this journey, I hope to lose about 10 lbs, tone up my problem areas (the dreaded bra bulge, arm wings, and the booty), and eat a lot healthier. Sorry Yard House, your amazing burgers and french fries aren't making the cut!

As my journey progresses, I will post way more about the Beachbody products I love, and hopefully post some smokin hot bod pics for some motivation!
